L'Almanac'h - Les Grandes Dates de l'Histoire de Bretagne
Episode: 24 mai 1980. La Pentecôte antinucléaire de Plogoff / May 1980. Anti-nuclear demonstration in Plogoff, Brittany. May 1980. Tens of thousands of people flock from all over Brittany and beyond for two days of celebration in Cap Sizun, at the southwest tip of Finistère, in support of the fight against the nuclear power plant, planned at Plogoff. Gilles Simon, political science researcher, explains us the political and activist history of Plogoff's mobilization. The interview is enriched by extracts from “Radio Plogoff”, the pirate radio of the area, which takes us back to the very particular atmosphere of this period.
