Barrscéalta
Every effort is made by ‘Barrscéalta’ to visit its listeners in person in their community as often as possible, be that on the mainland or traveling offshore to be with them on their island homes. On the 16th and 17th of May 2024 two days were spent among young and old on Oileán Árainn Mhór. The first day we discussed the joy, the memories, the hardships of island living. In this show, the second day, we highlighted the excitement and joy, in both song and music, the islanders and its guests would enjoy during the annual Róise Rua Festival.
