Megan NicGill-Fhaolain
Broadcaster Megan MacLellan hails from the Scottish Highlands. Having been a familiar face on BBC Alba’s children’s programming for over 10 years, she currently presents BBC Radio nan Gàidheal’s flagship music programme, Rapal. Discovering new talent and showcasing this live on-air every Tuesday evening is something she is passionate about. Megan shares responsibility for the production of other music programmes for BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, and is the Producer on Crunluath and Piping Sounds broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland and on Radio nan Gàidheal. Steeped in Highland culture from a very young age, she is a testament to the success of Gaelic Medium Education. Megan studied for a BA Gaelic & Media at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Isle of Skye. Encouraging young people to explore opportunities in broadcasting and Gaelic is something she feels strongly about.
