Lantern Scottish Poetry

Hosts Scottish Makar Kathleen Jamie and Alistair Heather are joined in the Scottish Poetry Library by some of the most talented and vital voices in modern Scottish letters. Together they read aloud poetry and have enlightening conversations about the works and themes. 'Me and my Dad will just about manage a handshake’. Poets Andrew Greig and Michael Pedersen join Kathleen and Alistair to examine, through their own work, how relationships between men are depicted in Scottish writing. The episode also discusses how, in their friendships, men often experience barriers to emotional intimacy and how this may be changing across generations.
