Na Gloria

GAL: A vida na Gloria, unha pequena localidade ao pé do Camiño Francés, altérase cando Pati, unha alta executiva en plena crise existencial, decide darle un cambio radical á súa vida estableciéndose alí. O seu objetivo é converter a vella casa dos avós nun establecemento hostaleiro destinado aos peregrinos que busquen o equilibrio interior e o crecemento espiritual. Para levar a cabo o seu soño conta con Bertín, o seu mellor amigo que é tamén un estrito chef vegano de fama internacional. A Gloria de Arriba sempre foi o lugar máximo dos verán da súa infancia, o sitio no que a natureza e a vida pausadas da gente enchían de sentido a existencia. Agora Pati quero recuperar esas sensacións e compartilas con todos os camiñantes que busquen un descanso no seu idílico oasis de paz. Pero non vai tardar en descubrir que os cálidos días de verán non duran todo o ano, que o camiño espiritual dos peregrinos ten ben pouco de espiritual, que Bertín non só é estrito co veganismo e, sobre todo, que a convivencia coas xentes sabias e pausadas do rural é máis estresante que a do competitivo mundo dos negocios ao que acaba de renunciar. O inferno que topará Pati en A Gloria ten caras e nomes: señoras que o queren saber todo, habituais da taberna que presumen de sabelo todo, un matrimonio interesado e argallador (Paca e Waldo), un vello revirado e supostamente invalido e, por riba de todos, Lolo, un brután que a fai tolera en todos os sentidos, para Ben e para mal, para a súa desgraza e felicidade. Her goal is to transform her grandparents' old house into a hotel establishment for pilgrims seeking inner balance and spiritual growth. To carry out her dream she counts on Bertín, her best friend who is also a strict chef of international fame. A Gloria de Arriba was always the magical place of her childhood summers, the place where nature and the leisurely life of the people filled her existence with meaning. Now Pati wants to recover those sensations and share them with all the hikers who seek rest in her idyllic oasis of peace. But she will soon discover that the warm summer days do not last all year long, that the spiritual path of the pilgrims is not very spiritual, that Bertín is not only strict with veganism and, above all, that living with the wise and peaceful rural people is more stressful than the competitive business world she has just given up. The hell Pati will find in A Gloria has faces and names: ladies who want to know everything, tavern regulars who presume to know everything, an interested and scheming married couple (Paca and Waldo), a twisted and supposedly disable old man and, above all, Lolo, a brute who makes us go crazy in every way, for better and for worse, for his misfortune and happiness.
