Eleven-year-old Mia from the Isle of Lewis in the Western Isles has a dream to ride the family donkey on the beach. This is a dream she intends to fulfil, but it certainly won’t be an easy task. With a strong and special connection to this loving animal, we follow Mia as she strives to discipline Jimmy who can be mischievous and challenging at times.
