Cathy MacDonald

Cathy MacDonald has been an ever-present feature on BBC Radio Scotland for nearly 4 decades. Her professionalism, intelligence and warmth have endeared her to generations of both Gaelic and English speakers. As the presenter of BBC Radio Scotland’s Sunday Morning religion and ethics programme she effortlessly traverses diverse subjects, from matters of faith to personal stories, difficult ethical discussions to lighter human interest matters. Combining a keen editorial ear and a gentle wit she infuses each programme with just the right blend of natural warmth and journalistic inquisitiveness. And now nearly 40 years into her career she remains as sharp, focused and consummate a presenter as ever.
