Voices 16
Voices 16: A tri-media project marking seismic events in 1916 Ireland. Stories overlap across TV, BBC Online and social media. Layers of history emerge through testimonies and century old newspapers. Diaries, witness statements and letters are the building blocks of a broad range of content, accessible via PC and mobile. Real voices are at heart of this multi-media story, that’s told in real time across the 365 days of 2016. Chunkable content, curated on a digital hub is also syndicated widely so that audiences can immerse themselves or have 'dip-in' experience. Our daily content schedule sees stories from a broad range of perspectives weave across digital platforms.
