Self-Shooting Clinic (Evening)

Got a problem with self-shooting, or want to know more about directing with a camera in your hand? This Q&A session is your chance to get answers to your questions. You’ll also be able to learn from the experiences of the tutor, a current director and camera operator, and the shared experiences of your fellow attendees.
Course content
The tutor will use a Sony FS7 and/or Canon C300 camera to illustrate technical solutions to your questions and provide advice for dealing with situations on location which have caught you out. Topics from previous sessions include:
- How to deal with awkward lighting and exposure issues.
- Conducting yourself more effectively on location as a self-shooting director.
- Technical questions about camera and sound.
- Explaining technical concepts and jargon
- Improving composition
- Improving the look of interviews
- Shooting and covering actuality and uncontrolled action with the edit in mind
Who it's for
Runners, Researchers, AP’s and PD’s who are beginning to shoot more. Anyone who self-shoots as part of their projects, or directs action with a camera in hand, and wants to tune up their self-shooting skills.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be in writing and must be received at least seven days prior to the course date or the full fee will be charged. ITF reserves the right to cancel courses without liability, and delegates will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
